Lisboat "MH 4 Aurora" – Navaltagus TB1204


Tour boat operated by Lisboat seen on the Tejo River in September 2019. This tour boat of the monohull type, named "MH 4 Aurora" and registered LX-492-AL, is a Navaltagus ¹ TB1204, built in Portugal and completed in 2018. Steel hull. It has an overall length of 41 ft and can accommodate up to 54 passengers (54+2). It is equipped with two 101 kW (137 hp) Yanmar engines and fixed pitch propellers. Top speed is 11 knots. The "MH 4 Aurora" is included in a series of four vessels delivered in 2017–2018 – "MH 1 Marujo" (sailor), "MH 2 Luar" (moonlight), "MH 3 Fadista" (fadista or fado singer) and "MH 4 Aurora" (dawn). "MH" comes from "Miracle Horizon". Possibly, in the Navaltagus nomenclature, "TB1204" indicates a "Tour Boat" with a length and beam of approximately "12" and "04" m.

Established in 2016 and based in Lisboa, Lisboat ² proposes sightseeing tours and special events on the Tejo River. Boarding takes place at Cais da Ribeira das Naus or at Cais da Princesa. Here, we see the "MH 4 Aurora" approaching the south bank of the Tejo River. ●

Este barco de turismo do tipo monocasco, com o nome de "MH 4 Aurora" e registado LX-492-AL, é um Navaltagus ¹ TB1204, construído em Portugal e completado em 2018. Casco em aço. Possui um comprimento total de 12,50 m e pode acomodar até 54 passageiros (54+2). Utiliza dois motores Yanmar de 101 kW (137 hp) e hélices de passo fixo. A velocidade máxima é de 11 nós. O "MH 4 Aurora" está incluído numa série de quatro embarcações entregues em 2017–2018 – "MH 1 Marujo", "MH 2 Luar", "MH 3 Fadista" e "MH 4 Aurora". "MH" vem de "Miracle Horizon". Possivelmente, na nomenclatura da Navaltagus, "TB1204" indica um "Tour Boat" (barco turístico ou de turismo) com comprimento e boca de aproximadamente "12" e "04" m. 

Estabelecida em 2016 e baseada em Lisboa, a Lisboat ² propõe passeios turísticos e eventos especiais no Rio Tejo. Os embarques têm lugar no Cais da Ribeira das Naus ou no Cais da Princesa. Aqui, vemos o "MH 4 Aurora" aproximando-se da margem sul do Rio Tejo. ●

After the disastrous choice of the British operator VODAFONE as my internet provider, which sent my connectivity back into the dark ages and whose mediocre or non-existent service affected five months of publications (September, October, November, December and January), it is finally possible to bypass the obstacle with the support of an interested party. The return to normality should occur from February 20th, closing with sixteen publications the cycle dedicated to passenger vessels in regular or tourist service on the Tejo River. As a note of interest, partly motivated by this disastrous experience with the British operator VODAFONE, I will soon launch a new digital space –  UNPLEASANT | LX . It will be interesting. Carris 2443 – Caetano City Gold MAN 2KD

Bus operated by Carris seen on Avenida Infante Dom Henrique, Lisboa, in May 2019. This bus with fleet number 2443 is a Caetano City Gold MAN 2KD registered in 2005 and included in a series of 50 units, 2401–2450, placed in service in 2005–2006. It has an overall length of 39.4 ft and can accommodate 35 seated passengers and 44 standees (35+44+1). Esteban Urban 90 seats. It uses the MAN 18.280 HOCL-NL chassis with the 206 kW (280 hp) MAN D0836 LOH engine.
