Verdié Autocars – Neoplan Starliner C

Coach operated by Verdié Autocars seen at Praça D. Pedro IV, Lisboa, in May 2012. This coach is a Neoplan Starliner C. It has an overall length of 42.6 ft and can accommodate 44 passengers (44+1+1). It features integral construction and uses the 353 kW (480 hp) MAN D2676 LOH engine. Established in 1983 and based in Rodez , France, Verdié Autocars operates regular services, regular specialized services, and occasional services. Here, we see this luxurious Neoplan Starliner C arriving in downtown Lisboa in an occasional service. In 2016, Verdié Autocars introduces the VERBUS brand. Presented in 1996, the Neoplan Starliner is an integral coach with MAN powertrains, featuring a double windshield with the upper element tilted rearwards at an unusual angle. In 2004, Neoplan presents the second generation, available in two lengths, 42.6 ft (C) and 45.9 ft (L), both with a height of 13 ft, and both in a 3-axle configuration.
