Transtejo Soflusa "Cegonha-Branca" – Astilleros Gondán

Electric ferry operated by Transtejo Soflusa seen on the Tejo River in February 2024. This electric ferry of the catamaran type, named "Cegonha-Branca" and registered PT-111767-TL, is built in Spain by Astilleros Gondán ¹ and completed in 2022 with yard number 493. Glass-reinforced plastic hull and superstructure. It has an overall length of 131.2 ft and can accommodate 544 passengers (544+?). It uses two 550 kW (748 hp)  ²  electric main engines (motors?) fed by a 1860 kWh Corvus Dolphin Energy NxtGen energy storage system  ³ , rechargeable during docking by Zinus fast charging stations (or towers) installed on the piers of the Cacilhas, Cais do Sodré, Montijo and Seixal terminals. Fixed pitch propellers. Top speed is 17 knots. Its class will include 10 vessels progressively introduced into service until 2025.  Based in Lisboa , Transtejo Soflusa   ⁴  operates regular services and occasional services in the estuary of the Tejo River. Soflusa "Damião de Goes" – Damen Shipyards Singapore DFF 4912

Ferry operated by Soflusa seen on the Tejo River about to dock at Terminal Fluvial do Barreiro in October 2019. This ferry of the catamaran type, named "Damião de Goes" and registered LX-3197-TL, is a Damen Shipyards Singapore ¹ DFF 4912 completed in 2003, hull/yard number 53/530101. Aluminum hull and superstructure. It has an overall length of 161.4 ft and can accommodate 600 passengers (600+4). Modell Møbler seats. It uses two 2320 kW (3111 hp)  MTU  16V 4000 M70 main engines and two HamiltonJet HM811 water jets. Service speed is 22 knots. Its class originally includes nine vessels – "Damião de Goes", "Augusto Gil", "Miguel Torga", "Fernando Namora", "Gil Vicente", "Jorge de Sena", "Almeida Garrett", "Fernando Pessoa" and "Antero de Quental". Lisboat "MH 2 Luar" – Navaltagus TB1204

Tour boat operated by  Lisboat  seen on the Tejo River in front of Cais da Ribeira das Naus in October 2019. This tour boat of the monohull type, named "MH 2 Luar" and registered LX-488-AL, is a Navaltagus ¹ TB1204, built in Portugal and completed in 2017. Steel hull. It has an overall length of 41 ft and can accommodate up to 54 passengers (54+2). It is equipped with two 101 kW (137 hp) Yanmar engines and fixed pitch propellers. Top speed is 11 knots. The "MH 2 Luar" is included in a series of four vessels delivered in 2017–2018 – "MH 1 Marujo" (sailor), "MH 2 Luar" (moonlight), "MH 3 Fadista" ( fadista  or fado singer) and "MH 4 Aurora" (dawn). " MH " comes from " M iracle  H orizon". Possibly, in the Navaltagus nomenclature, " TB1204 " indicates a " T our  B oat" with a length and beam of approximately " 12 " and " 04 " m.
