Girómundo 37 – Irizar PB

Município de Avis – Marcopolo Viaggio 350

Coach operated by Município de Avis seen at Praça dos Restauradores, Lisboa, in May 2012. This coach is a Marcopolo Viaggio 350 ¹ registered in 2001 and uses a Volvo chassis. The Municipality of Avis is located in the Alentejo region, in the District of Portalegre. In addition to its use in municipal activities and in supporting schools, communities and other institutions, a properly decorated municipal bus is a postcard on wheels. In this case, the adhesive vinyl decoration characterizes the municipality through an interesting combination of pictograms and colors and invites us to visit the picturesque Maranhão Dam . As for the Marcopolo Viaggio 350 in the image, I assume it was replaced by an Irizar i6 with a Scania chassis, with capacity for up to 51 passengers (51+1+1) and equipped with access for people with reduced mobility. Carris 1563 – CAMO Cronus

This articulated bus with fleet number 1563 is a CAMO Cronus registered in 1997 and included in a series of 60 units, 1530–1589, placed in service in 1995 and 1997. It has an overall length of 59.1 ft and can accommodate 46 seated passengers and 107 standees (46+107+1). It uses the Volvo B10MA   ¹  articulated chassis with the 180 kW (245 hp) Volvo THD 103 KF engine.
