Electric locomotive operated by CP   ¹  seen at Lisboa–Santa Apolónia station , on the Norte line , in January 2008. This electric locomotive with fleet number 2606 is built by the Groupement 50 Hz in 1974, included in a series of 12 units placed in service by the Caminhos de Ferro Portugueses in 1974–1975. These units preserve part of the genetic code of the SNCF BB 17000 series, but benefit from a more appealing " Nez cassé " body and bogies with a longer wheelbase (7.2 ft)  ² .
