Carris 1563 – CAMO Cronus

This articulated bus with fleet number 1563 is a CAMO Cronus registered in 1997 and included in a series of 60 units, 1530–1589, placed in service in 1995 and 1997. It has an overall length of 59.1 ft and can accommodate 46 seated passengers and 107 standees (46+107+1). It uses the Volvo B10MA   ¹  articulated chassis with the 180 kW (245 hp) Volvo THD 103 KF engine. Based in Frielas , St.º António–Barraqueiro, or Joaquim Jerónimo–Santo António, operates regular services, regular specialized services and occasional services. Joaquim Jerónimo is the name of the founder of the Joaquim Jerónimo Lda. company established in 1933 and from which derives the present operation. St.º António comes from St.º António dos Cavaleiros , the geographic area served by this operator, which is part of the Barraqueiro group.
