Private Owner – Renault Témis 630

Image
Tractor operated by a private owner seen in southern Portugal, next to one of the Costa de Caparica beaches, in August 2023. This tractor is a Renault Témis 630  registered in 2003. It has a wheelbase of 107.1 in and can be used in various agricultural functions. It has all-wheel drive and uses the IVECO 5.9L 6-cylinder diesel engine, possibly with 95 kW (129 hp). There is little in them that is not essential to the function for which they are intended and it is in this honesty and in their natural wear and tear that I find beauty. These images are of poor quality, but, for me, they confirm this charm. Fourteen years ago, when I caught a glimpse of this Ford 2000, I had to stop to appreciate in detail its body marked by years of hard work. I like machines like this – unpretentious, honest and down-to-earth. A great little machine. Introduced in 1965, the Ford 2000...
