BusNavarro 55 – Hispano Divo

Coach operated by BusNavarro seen at Praça dos Restauradores, Lisboa, in June 2016. This coach with fleet number 55 is a Hispano Divo registered in 2007. It has an overall length of 47.2 ft and uses the Irisbus IVECO EuroRider C45 SRI chassis with the 331 kW (450 hp) IVECO Cursor 10 engine. Based in Ontinyent , BusNavarro operates regular specialized services and occasional services. Here, we see this Hispano Divo on an occasional service. It is interesting to note how the paint scheme can change the character of a vehicle – at first, I didn’t recognize this coach as a Divo. Introduced in 2001, designed by Studi Pininfarina and combined with different chassis, the Hispano Divo is adopted by several Spanish operators. In 2005, it is redesigned and improved, becoming known as Divo II (also, Divo Gran Turismo), a version that evolves in 2007 to the Divo GT 3.5. TST 650 – Hispano Habit

Bus operated by TST  seen in Corroios at the bus terminal adjacent to the railway station in September 2019. This bus with fleet number 650 is a Hispano Habit first registered in 2006. It has an overall length of 39.4 ft and can accommodate 30 seated passengers, 32 standees, and 1 passenger with reduced mobility (30+32+1 PRM+1). It uses the Mercedes-Benz O 530 (Citaro) powertrain. Based in  Laranjeiro , TST, short for  Transportes Sul do Tejo   ¹ , operates until mid-2022 regular services in the municipalities of Alcochete, Almada, Barreiro, Moita, Montijo, Palmela, Seixal, Sesimbra and Setúbal, as well as their respective connections to Lisboa. It also provides regular specialized services and occasional services. From July 2022  ² , Transportes Sul do Tejo gives way to Carris Metropolitana/Transportes Sul do Tejo, which serves the municipalities of Almada, Seixal and Sesimbra (Área 3) and provides connections to Lisboa.
