Grupo Chapín – Irizar i6

The Irizar i6 is a versatile coach and we can see it both in tourist services and in regular services. Introduced in 2010, it succeeds the Irizar Century and PB models, although the latter, given its success with operators, will continue in production until 2015. The Irizar i6, combined with different chassis, is available in lengths from 35.4 ft to 49.1 ft. Irizar also proposes the i6 Integral with self-supporting body, equipped with the PACCAR MX-11 engine. In 2016, the Basque manufacturer presents the i6S, an update of the i6, as well as a 3-axle version destined for the North American market, with self-supporting body and a total length of 45 ft, capacity for 56 passengers (56+1+1) and equipped with the 425 hp ¹ (317 kW) Cummins ISX12 engine and Allison B500 transmission. ●

A Irizar propõe igualmente o i6 Integral com carroçaria autoportante, equipado com o motor PACCAR MX-11. Em 2016, o fabricante basco apresenta o i6S, actualização do i6, assim como uma versão de 3 eixos destinada ao mercado norte-americano, com carroçaria autoportante e um comprimento total de 13,72 m, capacidade para 56 passageiros (56+1+1) e equipada com o motor Cummins ISX12 de 425 hp ¹ (317 kW) e transmissão Allison B500. ●

After the disastrous choice of the British operator VODAFONE as my internet provider, which sent my connectivity back into the dark ages and whose mediocre or non-existent service affected five months of publications (September, October, November, December and January), it is finally possible to bypass the obstacle with the support of an interested party. The return to normality should occur from February 20th, closing with sixteen publications the cycle dedicated to passenger vessels in regular or tourist service on the Tejo River. As a note of interest, partly motivated by this disastrous experience with the British operator VODAFONE, I will soon launch a new digital space –  UNPLEASANT | LX . It will be interesting.
