TST 122 – Wright Commander

Produced between 2001 and 2014, the DAF SB 200 LF chassis is used on low-floor buses with the vertical engine at the rear end. The DAF SB 200 LF chassis can be found with a variety of bodies, including the VDL Berkhof Ambassador in the Netherlands or the Wright Commander and Wright Pulsar in the United Kingdom. In 2003, DAF Bus International changes its designation to VDL Bus International; consequently this chassis becomes the VDL SB 200 LF. The Wright Commander is produced in Northern Ireland between 2002 and 2007, mostly destined to Arriva. It is succeeded by the Wright Pulsar in 2006. As a further note of interest, in the United Kingdom, the Wright Commander features a double-leaf door at the front, on the left side, while the continental version features a single-leaf door at the front and a double-leaf door at the rear, on the right side.
