ALL 4402 – EMD/MACOSA G22U

Diesel-electric locomotive operated by ALL   ¹  seen at Presidente Prudente station, on the former Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana , in January 2006. This diesel-electric locomotive with fleet number 4402 is built under license from Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD) by Material y Construcciones S.A. (MACOSA) in 1972, construction number 1416, included in a series of 24 units (1607–1630) placed in service by the RFFSA /Rede de Viação Paraná-Santa Catarina em 1973. Overall length (buffers) is 50,8 ft. This locomotive uses a 1230 kW (1650 hp) EMD 645-E "V12" diesel and four MTM D-31 electric traction motors. Nominal output (wheels) is 1119 kW (1500 hp). CP 1935 – Alsthom/SOREFAME AD 30 C

Diesel-electric locomotive operated by CP   ¹  seen at Lisboa–Santa Apolónia station , on the Norte line , in October 2009. This diesel-electric locomotive with fleet number 1935 and named " Cidade do Barreiro " is built under license from Alsthom by SOREFAME   ²  in 1981, included in a series of 17 units placed in service by the Caminhos de Ferro Portugueses. These units preserve part of the genetic code of the SNCF A1AA1A 68500 series, but benefit from a more appealing " Nez cassé " ("broken nose") appearance derived from the SNCF CC 72000 series (1967–1974). Overall length (buffers) is 61,5 ft. This locomotive uses a 2427 kW (3300 hp) SACM AGO V12 DSHR  "V12" diesel engine and six Alsthom/EFACEC TAO 659 electric traction motors.
