It also offers specialized regular services and occasional services. The fleet displays the yellow paint scheme common to the four operational areas of Carris Metropolitana. Here, we see the CM–Alsa Todi 12810, a distinctive Yutong IC12E, about to leave the Terminal Rodoviário da Gare do Oriente, with service 4720, Lisboa (Oriente)–Setúbal (Terminal Várzea).

Formally launched in the European market in 2025, alongside the U12, the Yutong IC12E is an electric coach for suburban and medium-distance intercity services, featuring air suspension and a rear-mounted motor. It is offered with two power outputs, 215 and 250 kW. The batteries, consisting of 12 modules, are distributed in the lower part of the vehicle. As the name suggests, it is offered with a nominal length of 12 m (12.66 m); the longer version, with 14.875 m and three axles, is called the IC15E. The IC12E can accommodate up to 59 seated passengers and travel up to 610 km on a single charge. In Portugal, it can be found in the fleet of Carris Metropolitana – ALSA Todi, which also operates its predecessor, the ICe12, and the U12 urban electric bus. In 2026, the IC12E underwent a "restyling," gaining a more conventional appearance and losing the peculiar design (shared with the U12/15, IC15E, U11/12DD) that surprised and captivated many passengers and enthusiasts. ●

Em Portugal, podemos encontrá-lo na frota da Carris Metropolitana – ALSA Todi, que também opera o predecessor ICe12 e o autocarro eléctrico urbano U12. Em 2026, o IC12E sofreu um "restyling", ganhando um aspecto mais convencional, perdendo o peculiar desenho (partilhado com os U12/15, IC15E, U11/12DD) que surpreendeu e cativou muitos passageiros e entusiastas. ●
