Carris Metropolitana – TST 2262 – IVECO Crossway LE City

Introduced in 2006, the IVECO Crossway is a semi-integral urban or intercity bus with air suspension and a rear-mounted engine. It is offered in three lengths: 35.4 ft, 39.4 ft , and 42.65 ft. The LE version, with a low floor, was added in 2007 and offers two configurations: City, for urban and suburban services, and Line, for suburban and medium-distance intercity services. Depending on the versions and operational needs, the IVECO Crossway can be equipped with IVECO Tector 6 and 7, and Cursor 8 and 9 engines. Besides Italy, the Crossway can be found in several European countries. In Portugal, it forms the basis of the Carris Metropolitana – TST fleet, which operates 194 Crossway City LE units, 17 Crossway City LE CNG units, and 25 Crossway Line units. ●
